FMF Sports week 2017

The FMF Sports Week held from the 11th to the 15th of September 2017 was one of the most ecstatic weeks of the faculty of management and finance, University of Colombo. This was Organized by the Academic Affairs Unit of the Faculty of management and finance and was held at the University of Colombo premises.

The sports week started off with a grand opening ceremony, followed by Sri Lanka’s most popular sport; cricket. And many other sports like Rugby, football, basketball, volleyball, netball, carom, chess, badminton and table tennis were played during the rest of the week . Several teams both male and female, from different batches including the academic staff enjoyed playing against each other creating memories for a lifetime. 

As all good things should come to an end , on the 15th of Friday the closing Closing ceremony was held at the Gymnasium in the University premises. The Vice Chancellor Senior Professor Lakshman Dissanayake honored the event as the chief guest and awarded the winners trophies. Dean of faculty of management and finance Dr R senadhiraja and all academic and non academic staff including the faculty students participated for the closing ceremony. Everyone enjoyed and cherished this memorable experience and FMF Sports week 2017 was successfully concluded.

All that runs in my head now is “food”….haha! Well, that’s what must be running in the head of all readers. If I’ll have to consider my last meal’s menu the list would go on. It could be a combination of pizza, lasagne, chocolate, candy and it never ends! One sure thing that I know is that my meal should be mouth watery and delicious :p.
