Little Known Facts about Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler: I wouldn’t be surprised if the first thing that comes to your mind as you read this name is the fact that he started the worst world war known to mankind.

Can our little naïve hearts ever forget how the bodies of innocent people were piled up in those infamous pictures? After being brutally murdered in Nazi concentration camps?

But every dark cloud has a silver lining, and so does Adolf Hitler.

This article is an attempt to unfold some little known facts about him; a side that’s not written all over the pages of history books.

1) He was passionate
About Germany of course!

The First World War laid waste Germany and the Treaty of Versailles they were forced to sign, only lead them to a severe depression.

People were starving and dying in the streets, and if he wasn’t passionate and patriotic about his country, he wouldn’t have started the power struggle in the first place.

After all, no one would have wanted to rule a country that was in ruins!

2) He was a veggie
Most of us are not veggies and how many deaths are we responsible for, on a daily basis? I bet you don’t know.

It’s unclear whether he followed a vegetarian diet out of love for animals, but whatever the reason was, he wasn’t responsible for the deaths of animals too!

3) Anti-Tobacco Movement
At a time where smoking was considered to be ‘cool, cheap, legal and socially acceptable’, Hitler followed a strict anti-tobacco strategy that later became a movement and spread throughout the nations.

In fact, German doctors were the first to discover how smoking lead to lung cancer.

4) The People’s Car
Before Hitler came into power, an average German could hardly afford anything more than a motorcycle.
So he wanted every German to have a car, a Volkswagen for that matter, and started the People’s Car Project.

5) He invented the High-way
Every time you wish there was a highway to take you home away from the cursed traffic jams, be thankful to the one who invented it in the first place!

The "Autobahn" in Germany is the first and best example. It’s known for its flawless engineering and to this day, considered to be one of the best highway systems in the world.

6) He was lawful
Hitler was awful alright, but he was lawful as well.

Everything he did in Germany, even mass murders, was legalized. It was unjust, but still lawful. He legalized all his actions in a way that nothing could take him to prison.

7) He never visited concentration camps

When countless millions of innocent lives were brutally murdered in concentration camps under Hitler’s strict orders, he never once paid a visit to see it for himself.

To this day his supporters argue that it is because he wasn’t involved in the massacres, but evidences prove otherwise.

Still, he maintained a distance between himself and the camps, arousing curiosity as to what made him do so. Some believe that no matter how cruel and gruesome he was, he did have a soft spot.

Hitler, after all, was a great man.

He was a terrible person, but nevertheless, a great man.
