The Variety
After, the enthusiastic article "When Life Halts for a Moment, Reminisee", decided to meet with article " The Variety". This article is written by Pasindu Gunawardana, second year student of Faculty of Management & Finance.
Always
variety creates a beauty. Variety means difference between each other. Assume
that, if all people look like same; same appearance, same attitudes, same behaviors,
I do not think that may add beauty to the world. Variety of cultures nations,
variety of nature, add a beauty.
Likewise, as
people we have also lots of varieties.
Mainly we should consider about variety of human attitudes and behaviors. People have different thoughts, attitudes, behaviors according to their background and environment. We should respect that. We should respect all other attitudes.

I have heard
a lot of people say, “We should think as one” to build unity of people. but I
do not agree with that. How people think as one? They have different attitude. Above
statement can be destroyed someone’s independence. That may initiate conflict
of people.
As humans
all we prefer to varieties. When we are styling, travelling, even when we are
eating we seek and we prefer something different. That is normal human
behaviors. Likewise, the people who prefer for varieties, why they do not like
to hear another’s opinion? I think it is the time to change the way of thinking
of people.
As people
all of us should have a proper awareness about other religions, races and other
cultures as well. That means all we have multiple awareness about each other.
That can be reduced conflicts among people.
The spirit
of this is we should give value for other party’s opinion and attitudes. That
variety of thoughts, attitudes will create a wonderful and peaceful world
